Thursday nights at De Kalb Elks Lodge 765 have a rhythm to them. Regulars filter in, bingo cards get spread across tables, and somewhere near the front someone cracks a joke that sets the whole room laughing. First-timers often say the same thing after their first visit: they felt at home before the first number was even called. That kind of welcome isn't accidental. It's the culture Lodge 765 has built, one handshake and hot dog at a time.

Situated on South Annie Glidden Road, the Lodge serves as a gathering point for DeKalb, IL and the surrounding communities. The hall is bright and spacious, large enough to host the annual hobby show where vendors spread out comfortably and shoppers can actually move through the aisles without bumping elbows. On Memorial Day, the Lodge fires up the grill and hands out free hot dogs to honor the fallen and feed the community. These aren't marketing gestures. They're what this place is about.

Elks Lodge 765 holds a 4.6-star rating across dozens of reviews, and the feedback keeps circling back to the same thing: the people. Staff who joke around with you, fellow members who remember your name, and an atmosphere that makes a Tuesday feel like a celebration.

What We Offer

Thursday night bingo is the Lodge's most popular recurring event, drawing a loyal crowd that returns week after week. Cards, daubers, and good company are all part of the package. Prizes vary, but the social energy is consistent every single time.

The Lodge hall is available for private events and community functions. With ample floor space, bright lighting, and room to configure for trade shows, banquets, or club meetings, it's one of the more practical large-event venues in the DeKalb area. The annual hobby show is a prime example of the hall working exactly as it should, sellers with space to display, buyers with room to browse.

Beyond events, Lodge 765 offers Elks membership with access to a national network of charitable programs, scholarship opportunities, and veterans support initiatives. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has been funding community causes since 1868, and Lodge 765 carries that mission forward right here in DeKalb.

"I've only been here a few times for the Thursday Night Bingo, so I cannot attest to food or beverages or anything else. However, it offers a cheap date night! For $20, two people can each get 6 bingo cards for all the regular games, 3 cards for all the special games, a soda, and a popcorn. You cannot beat that!"
